"The road to hell is paved with good intentions"
- don't know who said it, but it wasn't me

I know y'all want your Taize pattern, but I hit a little crook in the road and had to take a detour.

Lost my camera and spent the afternoon clearing out stash, looking under WIPS, moving FOs...

Nothing puts you on the road to a cleaner workspace like not being able to find something you absolutely have to have.

And you KNOW it's there...

Finally found it under the outgoing sock yarn from Saturday's penance stash sale.

Lookee! You can actually see countertops!

And floor!

I know it looks like a mess to you, but trust me. This is a significant improvement!

And those big boxes in the corner?

Full of stash for sale.

Taize tomorrow. Promise...

Yes, we want our Taize, but not at the expense of your sanity.

That's definitely a *lot* of floor! (as opposed to a lot of mess...)

Usually credited to Samuel Johnson, the derivation of The Road to Hell can be found here:

The msytery stash boxes will probably disappear faster than you can buy more. Maybe.

You're doing great! My tiny little studio looks like a mountain fell into it.....I think I'll go up there and start making a dent. You've inspired me.
