It's Not Over - Yet...

"It's not over till it's over"
-Yogi Berra

I hope all of you had a fabulous holiday and are now enjoying some much deserved downtime. I know I am!

This is going to be a very short post - I am taking the day to regroup & recharge before we head northward into the frozen wastelands of Michigan.

I just wanted to take the opportunity before the madness of a large family Christmas takes over again, to remind you that there is only one more week to get Spruce, the limited edition Christmas pattern for 2009.

This pattern is my gift, free of charge to any and all who purchase the entire 2009 Garden Variety Collection of beaded lace shawl. For those of you who may be new to this blog, the four previous releases in the series are:

PAMPAS

ROSE

DELPHINIUM

AND CHRYSANTHEMUM

$32 FOR THE ENTIRE SERIES THROUGH JANUARY 3RD ONLY.

2008 SERIES ALSO AVAILABLE (FOR THE LAST TIME)

I will be taking my laptop to Michigan with me and will be filling orders daily.

Thanks to all of you who have made the last month (and year) so special and memorable.

And now, for the last time...

Just to spread the joy around, I will be giving away a free pattern (of your choice - Spruce excluded) to one commenter a day through Christmas, randomly chosen by Mrs. Claus (just me - don't get too excited).

I'll announce the previous day's winner in each post this month, If you are the winner, email me your preference at susanpandorf@comcast.net and I'll email your pattern right out to you.

Doesn't that sound like a lot of fun?

Thursday's winner is Crafty Cat & yesterday's winner is: Suz B Email me, girls...

Now aren't you glad you left a comment?

I hope some of you will continue to do so...

I think I had your blog open from trying to look at it Christmas Eve when I was looking at it late Christmas day. I figured if I left a comment on that day it would be too confusing - it almost was for me! The last few days have been a blur of driving, family and fun.

Hope your holidays are also filled with family and fun!

Thanks for making me a winner on Christmas Day!! A lovely surprise. What has been nicer about coming onto the site more regularly is seeing the lovely Spruce. It is moving up my queue at a good pace and I can't wait to get to it!

Hope everybody is having a good hols.

Wishing you and yours a lovely and safe holiday. We have welcomed a new grandbaby boy into our family. It has been a blessed but chaotic time and I have enjoyed having your new posts over these busy days.

Sounds like your holidays are just getting better and better! I hope the weather holds for your trip!

Happy Holidays from the great white north - currently in Geneva, IL visiting relatives. I guestimate we have gotten 8-10" of snow just since this morning. Cozy "nesting" in my immediate future.

The more I look at delphinium and chrysanthemum, the more I love them. They are awesome!

Deeply tempted by your sale. Must stash dive and see how much more yarn I'd have to buy to justify the patterns (or how much yarn buying the patterns would justify, it's a chicken/egg issue). Safe travels!

We don't "do" Christmas anymore except for the grandkids, but the Spuce is so perfect in a not cutting down a tree way! Lovely pattern. Have a great trip.

So glad you had a wonderful holiday! I wish you would stop tempting me with these patterns ... I'm glad I have a few days left to decide which ones I'm going to get, as I'm a true blue procrastinator! They are all lovely! Have a wonderful trip.

Happy Holidays! As to your title - not over with yet - in my case I wish it was. Just had an xray to see if it truly is my sciatic that's causing my leg pain. Sure hope 2010 is better than 2009 is ending up!!

I hope you have had a fantastic Christmas as well!

We actually celebrate for 12 days... the full Christmastide. Quite nice! We are catholic and follow the liturgical year... Easter is great with 50 days! We homeschool and take these days off and it is lovely.

Thank you so much for the chance to win my favorite patterns. I've spent a considerable amount of time looking them over in the last month and I've decided I don't have to wait for a holiday or for my chances to win: I'm buying them for myself! Tomorrow. :)

Happy holidays.

I just wrote a longish post and it didn't go through it seems. So, I was wondering (more briefly this time) if you could post on how you started designing and any materials you can recommend -- I have ideas and am not sure how to get them on paper or in the yarn. Do you knit or write it out first?

Thanks!

Monday try? Too late?...fingers crossed just in case. ;-)

So hard to decide which of your lovely patterns to do first- my knit knite group has entered the ravelolympics and I will make one of the shawls for that! meanwhile I am auditioning my yarns to see which goes with which pattern.
