Tidbits

"I take it to be a principle rule of life, not to be too much addicted to any one thing."
- Terence

Clearly, this is NOT a problem for me.

I am not addicted to any one thing.

I am addicted to MANY things.

Here's a peek at some of them ( in release order)

BLUE GENTIAN

The Fibre Co. Canopy Fingering

EDDY
as in the water's motion, not the boy's name

The Fibre Co. Canopy Fingering
color: River Dolphin
release date: mid March

SUGAR SNAP
at least I didn't name it "world peas"

The Fibre Co. Canopy Fingering

CATCH A WAVE

The Fibre Co. Canopy Fingering
color: Macaw
release date: late March/early April

Gee...

Do you think I like this yarn, or what????

Not that I am hopelessly devoted to it or anything...

(Why do I hear Olivia Newton John singing in my head?)

I am also working on a scarf design for Knitty Noddy that is a bit of a departure for me.

No lace. Just texture. Wanted something to blend the colors. This slip stitch mock rib fits the bill. Tipping it to the diagonal gives it a fresh look.

And yes, it is that green. No enhancement necessary.

No name yet, but the yarn is called Cambyx. It's a silk camel blend.
color: Hemlock

And am looking ahead to summer, with the yarn sitting in the bottom tier of the basket. My Zen collection of organic cotton scarves.

Just look at those lovely sand-washed neutrals.... Perfect for hot summer days.

W-A-A-A-A-A-Y down the line...

Oh what a tease!! I can see where my $$'s will be going in the next few months. You amaze me with your designing speed, and they're ever so pretty. Especially the blue-green one without a name yet. Thanks for all you do.

Hi Susan! The Cambyx is a *Camel* / Tussah Silk blend (camelid x bombyx = cambyx)

Your new designs are really pretty. I especially like the Blue Gentian. It's an interesting pattern!

Wow! Industrious, aren't you? I can't believe it's the same yarn, though. Each pattern gives the yarn a totally different look. Can't wait for the patterns!

Addiction is such a maligned term. I think of my addiction to the peace of mind your patterns give me as a positive thing and certainly cheaper than therapy.

Now this is what I'd call a stimulus plan :-)
