Remember this?
I had hoped to have a finished Crocus Pocus to share with you this afternoon. That's why I'm posting so late in the day.
But fate had other ideas.
Between fiddling about with the border...
And an unscheduled pause...
To collect the beads...
Which flew all over the room...
When the bowl broke.
Which happened when it hit the floor...
Because I sprang up...
Suddenly.
Because the cat fell...
Loudly...
On the stairs...
To my studio...
With a loud and piteous yowl.
I thought she was having a seizure...
Or a heart attack.
She's fine...
Just clumsy...
I'm fine...
Just tired of picking up beads...
SIGH!
OY!
VEY!
NURTZ!
BUGGER!
OK. I feel all better now.
Thanks for letting me vent...
Time to rework this section:
Thanks to all the volunteer test knitters. I am inundated (to say nothing of flattered beyond belief!) What a nice problem to have... Will be contacting you all shortly.
Big announcement tomorrow!
Y'all com back now, y'hear?

I can relate...unfortunately I've had way too many days like that.
Lovin' what I see though!
I really like the last two photos. That, to me, says crocus. I'd have to see the whole thing to see the pocus.
Making me smile.
Maybe you need a small dustbuster dedicated just to beads. That's a lot of tiny beads to pick up. The colors in the crocus pocus are so springlike and pretty.
Vent away! Especially when you include such pretty pictures!!Crocus Pocus sure is looking fabulous. My cat has the same habit of causing chaos while I'm in the midst of something. I've found that using one of a tape covered lint brush helps when picking up teeny beads. I can't wait for the big announcment!! - Megan
Darn that pesky cat!!! Picking up beads, AND a broken glass bowl? I hope kitty knows how much he's messed up and makes up for it with purring and rubbing against your legs :)
That before last picture of crocus pocus is so cute! I like the motif :) Chris was right - you have such a gift for lace.
Ah, cats, can't live with 'em, can't shoot 'em.
Its lovely. My cat keeps stealing my socks but at least they are easy to collect whereas accidentally knocked over beads are a pain. At least your cat is ok!
How's Drizzle coming along? :-)
