Morocco's Comin'

She'll be comin' round the graft line when she comes...
She'll be comin' round the graft line when she comes...
She'll be comin' round the graft line,
She'll be comin' round the graft line,
She'll be comin' round the graft line when she comes.

-to the tune of "She'll be Comin' Round the Mountain"

or how about...

I've looked at shawls from both sides now.
From up and down
And still somehow
It's shawls' repetitions I recall.
I really DO know shawls, after all.

-apologies to Joni Mitchell

Kim and I have decided...

Enough is enough!

Now don't tune me out, just because you think I'm about to go on a rant here.

Because I'm not.

All of this is by way of saying,

IT'S HERE!

(or at least it WILL be - next week - promise)

Because Moroccan Days / Arabian Nights is knit in two identical halves, we have decided there is no reason to hold back the pattern from publication, once Cheryl and I have the first half completed (which is imminent in her case and over the weekend in mine.)

So the wait is nearly over. MD/AN has a due date.

She is moving into place.

I am going into labor (not that I haven't been there for weeks!)

I just hope it's not a breech birth...

Reached the center panel today. Baby pics. tomorrow...

Oh, I AMOST FORGOT!

Vi has started a KAL group on Ravelry and we have 24 members already.

HOW COOL IS THAT?!?!?!?!

(I'm SO not worthy...)

But I'm SO excited.

Gotta go knit, so I have something to bring for show and tell tomorrow...

Hi Susan,
Can you see me over here panting in anticipation? It looks like the Ravelry group is growing fast. Have you warned the bead shops of the coming inundation? Some of them still haven't recovered from Ice Queen. It's really beautiful and Kim's yarn will SO do it justice.

You are most certainly worthy. It's been a lot of fun watching you design it.
